This is a journey planner organisational chart which can be used for SEN students who require Travel Training sessions. Entry Level 1 to Level 2 students. It includes what the students need to consider in regards to planning travel on buses, taxis and the Metro (or Tubes/Trams). I use this in my Travel Training sessions, so students can independently plan a journey on public transport, learning valuable transferable skills.

I use this Year Plan to plan my teaching year out (just a basic overview) before completing my Scheme of Learning. I like how you can see the whole year on one page :) I usually create a year plan for each subject. The Year Plan can be put at the front of each students’ folder and the student can see where they’re up to too, ideal for SEN students who like to know what’s coming next! This Year Plan is for the academic year 2023-2024 and based on the Bristol City Council academic term dates.

There is also an accompanying evidence sheet, where students can then provide photographic evidence for the goal.

This resource can be used for students that require Rarpa (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement); it is linked to the PfA (Preparing for Adulthood) goal/target: Independent Living Skills If students have set up their own personal independent living skills goal, students can then provide photographic evidence for this via the sheet. There is also an accompanying witness statement sheet, where tutors or LSA’s can provide written evidence towards the goal.
